The young blackbird is too quick

All the cat has is a claw full of feathers

And the thought that it has caught something

A dog barks as a car pulls up

A woman shouts at the dog

The neighbour has come home

Gunshots ring in the lazy afternoon

Blasting from the television set

The children are watching the A-team

A car with loud music screeches round the bend

Mothers worry about these adolescent boys

Who drive so dangerously

Far away oceans are heaving, icebergs breaking off

And weathermen predict tornadoes and typhoons

There will surely be casualties

Let us watch the news and find out

What is going on in the world

Dream of...

I remember...

Who knows where my feet are wandering

When a door opens
